Publication Ethics Statement
The Biol supports the Core Practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and focuses on addressing violations or investigating misconduct according to COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines to the fullest extent possible.
By submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author agrees that:
- The manuscript is free of plagiarism.
- The manuscript is not being submitted or considered for publication elsewhere.
- The work has not been previously published.
- All significant contributors have been properly acknowledged or given co-authorship.
- All authors have agreed to the publication in The Biol.
- All addresses and institutional affiliations are complete and correct.
- All national laws regarding the research have been followed.
- Funding sources and conflicts of interest have been properly acknowledged.
- Authorization has been obtained to publish all parts of the submission from employers, intellectual property holders, copyright holders, funders, and others.
If a published paper is later found not to meet these criteria, it may be retracted, or a correction may be issued at the journal’s discretion.
The journal seeks to apply scientific rigor to the study of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) modalities, particularly traditional Asian healing systems. The Biol emphasizes health outcome, while documenting biological mechanisms of action. The journal is devoted to the advancement of science in the field of basic research, methodology or scientific theory in diverse areas of Biomedical Sciences. The journal does not consider articles on homeopathy.
